According to official website, Novembers Doom new album, "The Novella Reservoir", is to be released at February 20th, 2007 (6 days from now). Some stores are already letting you to pre-order it.

Marilyn Manson @ Download Festival 2007

Among other artists, Marilyn Manson is now confirmed to be going to present new matterial live at the Download Festival 2007, that will happen from the 8th to the 10th of June.

According to the festival's official website:

Self-proclaimed ‘Antichrist Superstar’, Marilyn Manson is among the most notorious and controversial entertainers of our generation. Making a return to the festival for a second time (2003 being the other), he will take to the stage on the Saturday night. Manson has revealed “I have a responsibility to make the music loud again, so that we won't hear the world coming to an end."

The news about the (expected) fact that Marilyn Manson is going to present new matterial comes from Kerrang!:

Marilyn Manson will be performing new material as part of his set at Download and has emphasised a desire to "make music loud again."

Marilyn Manson: Eat Me, Drink Me

Acording to Marilyn Manson's official website, and we quote,

Marilyn Manson has nearly completed work on his upcoming album, set to come out this spring. The album is titled EAT ME, DRINK ME. The band will also launch a world tour coinciding with the release.

With a title that shows the inspiration with Dürer's work, Melencolia III, the third Merankorii album, was released last monday. This is a CD-R release, limited to 100 hand-numbered copies, with the most consistent dark ambient sound from Merankorii.

Marilyn Manson dating with Lindsay Lohan

According to Moldova:

Marilyn Manson is said already dating a new woman, just days after wife Dita Von Teese asked for divorce.

As Fametastic notes, a sources close to the couple told People magazine that Marilyn’s relationship with actress Evan Rachel Wood was a factor in the decision for Dita to file for divorce at the end of December.

“Dita is heartbroken, she didn’t see this coming. His partying contributed to the split as well”, said one of the sources.

Marilyn was pals with the 19 year old for some time, since asking her to appear in his imminent film “Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll” and Marilyn painted a picture of Eva for the opening of his Hollywood art gallery last year.

Another friend of the divided husband and wife told the New York Post that there is likely to be a custody battle during the divorce, over the couple’s pets.

Mansonand and Von Teese, who were together for eight years including a year of marriage, have two cats and two dachshunds. Dita took all four when she moved out of their marital home but it’s the felines that will cause the trouble.

“They are fighting over custody of the cats - not so much the dogs”, said a source.

Maybe this means that the "fear" expressed in the last post, about the divorce, can be dismissed, as it doesn't seems that it will affect Manson's artistic vein, even if the whole process is going to occupy some of his time...

Dita Von Teese divorces from Marilyn Manson

Dita Von Teese divorced from Marilyn Manson, after one year of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences" in the past 24th of December. Von Teese (real name: Heather Sweet) asked that the judge not grant Manson (real name: Brian Warner) spousal support and that the division of their property be determined at a later date, according to E! News.

According to the New York Post's Page Six column, Manson was left in the dark about the split because Von Teese, 34, has been unable to reach him to notify him of her intentions.

"He's not been responsive," a "friend" of the couple told the newspaper. "She loved him so much, but he has too many demons. He can't even communicate with her at this point. She tried to tell him she was divorcing him, but she can't even get him on the phone. She moved out of the house and he hasn't even noticed."
